Wrap Up
2007
Synopsis
Valeria (Manuela Pal) has switched her home town Buenos Aires for Betanzos, a village in La Coruña where her family came from. Excentric, daydreaming and fun, she finds herself at 25 in the most surreal sentimental crossroad of her life: after the sudden death of her mature and attractive lover, she falls in love with his son Marcelo (Félix Gómez).
Her friend Adela (María Bouzas), owner of the hair salon where she works, will help her work out the conundrum. Meanwhile, they enjoy the little pleasures of life together with their neighbours, laugh away their sorrows and fantasize about having a different life (inspired maybe on the Parisian posters that decorate the hair salon...).
A real fable about the universal drive to find one´s own identity, decipher collective joy and live love in a place as foreign as it is close, that has nothing to envy the boulevards of Paris.
