Synopsis
A couple of thirty-somethings struggling with life, marriage, work, a kid and a new bought house outside the city. Although they hate to admit it, Lucía and Manuel no longer have wishes in common. Married and with a 7 year old son, while Lucía fantazises with other men, Manuel feels his wife stopped looking up to him and starts to crumble.
Out of love, or as an antidote for the couple´s crisis, they decide to embark themselves on a life project outside the city, sustained on their mutual passion for achitecture: a small house with a garden, in touch with nature. They sell their apartment and set up temporarily at Lucia´s mom´s house, near the building site of their future home.
But life with his wife´s family is not simple for Manuel, and while Lucía takes the ongoing construction process as a personal challenge, he decides to take a break and huddles at home with his own parents.
Now living in different homes, while trying to satisfy their personal desires, they start to forget what was that kept them together. What nourishes love? What nourishes desire? Is home the space that turns us into a family? For Lucía and Manuel, building a place to rediscover each other turns out to be very difficult; to uncover what has been lost, too.
