"The Ark" is an animated film that comically recreates the misadventures of the passengers of the Ark, a huge ocean liner built by Noah at the request of God. The coexistence on board, both of the thousands of animals and of the humans, doesn´t turn out to be exactly pleasurable.

While predators plan to eat the herbivores, the good Noah fails to steer the ship´s course, perhaps because of his nearsightedness, or because he always lived in the desert, but mainly because of the fighting and lack of solidarity among the members of his family, that consists of three sons and their wives.

The lion, who is supposed to be the king of the animals, is in this case an irresponsible young creature named Xiro, who is convinced that this is a pleasure cruise. Meanwhile Bombay, his unconditional friend and personal masseuse, gives him eccentric advice, and Kairel, his accidental travel companion who is secretly in love with him, tries to convey to him the leadership skills he lacks of.

In the shadows, the spiteful tiger Dagnino, backed by a gang of predators will make every effort to overthrow Xiro, while Farfan and Esther, two greedy merchants who boarded the Ark as stowaways to flee from the climatic disaster, conspire against Noah to take control of the boat.

From heaven, God will monitor step by step the course of events, accompanied by his faithful assistant and scribe Ángel, who gathers literary material for the book that´s destined to become the biggest bestseller of all time.
