No Kids
2015
Synopsis
Gabriel has been separated for four years now. Sofía, his 8-year-old daughter, is the main focus of his life. Utterly refusing to start a new relationship, Gabriel is now exclusively devoted to his little daughter.
The father-daughter romance is shaken up by the arrival of Vicky, an old-time platonic love, now turned into a beautiful, independent and carefree woman.
Upon the emerging love, she only manifests one condition: she would never get involved with a man with kids. She doesn’t want any children in her life.
-Do you have kids?, Vicky asks.
-No, I don’t, replies a completely submissive Gabriel.
From that moment on, his life becomes an arduous journey that includes speculating and hiding: before every new date with Vicky, Gabriel “sweeps away” the doll house, the clothes, the pictures and any children’s trace, putting everything under lock and key.
And the minute Vicky leaves, it all goes back where it belongs and the place is ready to receive Sofía.
No Kids is a family romantic comedy.
