WHITE ELEPHANT (2012)
SYNOPSIS
Two Third World priests, Julián and Nicolás, work alongside Luciana, a social worker, in a shantytown (an informal settlement, a marginalized area) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Together, they strive to solve the neighborhood's social problems.
Their work will pit them against both the ecclesiastical hierarchy and government powers, as well as drug trafficking and the police force, risking their lives to defend their commitment and loyalty to the neighborhood's residents.
